I work at Datastax as VP Engineering EMEA. Previously I've worked at MySQL, MariaDB, Galera Cluster, MongoDB. As you might have guessed, I'm interested in distributed databases. As a hobby project I maintain impress.js, a 3D JavaScript based presentation tool. I've also contributed patched to Drupal and a Linux kernel driver, which is why I feel competent to claim the title of full stack engineer! At the beginning of this century I wrote a book "Open Life: The Philosophy of Open Source".
