Distro support on Snapdragon
Booting with U-Boot // EFI on Qualcomm platforms
Caleb will discuss the current problems with distro support on Qualcomm platforms (both on mobile and on Snapdragon laptops).
They will introduce the issues with booting distros, the role U-Boot has to play in enabling distro support on mobile devices, and describe how postmarketOS is attempting to solve these issues.
In addition, they will briefly describe the architecture of Qualcomm support in U-Boot and the process of porting a new device.
